Yeah. I love Sims, but I forgot how often the community has drama after being gone from it for so long. Long story short, people got mad at Sims for pulling the new game from Russia like three days before release and saying they’d release an edited pack because they were claiming that being gay is illegal over there and they have to follow the law (the newest game features a lesbian couple in the promo), but then Russian Simmers were like bruh that’s not what’s up. Then the day right before the pack was supposed to come out Sims said they’d release the pack unedited with another week extension to get, I guess, legalities together. They finally released the pack about a week ago, but then people were boycotting it because of how EA handled the original release with their poor statement, and then the people who did buy the pack and tried playing it found out that the interactions that were promised (having bach parties and weddings!) don’t work… A mess.
