Pfft lol. Those are two of my fictional instruments.

The Bimleto (IPA [bin.lɛ.to]) is a 7-stringed instrument produced in Zeneste that can be either plucked or strummed in a particular fashion so as to create a 6/8 reel.

The Xåmgetaz (IPA [xɔːŋ.gɛ.tɑz]) is a six-stringed instrument produced in Upper Åtepsi that can also be either plucked or strummed (but mostly strummed) to create a 4/4 reel. This one is typically used in battle.

Yeah, the sound is so awful, they use it first infuriate the enemy, then bash in their heads with it once the owners of aforementioned heads are disoriented.

I’d like to bring up another random discovery (totally not what I was looking for when I found it).

There is a job title called Chick Sexer.

These are people that look at baby chickens and try to guess their gender.

For a living.

They look at chickens for a living.

Chick Sexers.

Also… What were you looking up?! :joy:

That is so, so super specific XD

How long of a work-day do they have, I wonder?

No clue. Maybe one of my bird searches? Whenever a new bird finds my bird feeder, I look it up. In most species male and female look differently so I might have typed in something like bird gender.

It’s a regular 9 to 5. A career. Skilled trade because apparently it’s not easy to tell apart chicks.

Is there a school for it, or is it more like an apprenticeship type of thing?

Haha, well… The more you know :joy:.
