Not if I can help it. I like giving ideas, but sometimes I need to check behind myself.
Oop xD well maybe a dream for one day haha
I mean, if I can churn out an under 40K story in 2 weeks, I’m sure I can collaborate. The big concern would be the writing style meshing.
Yeah, co-writing is an art xD
And if the personalities are too far apart, you have to settle on whose style has to dominate. It’s extra editing that a book normally wouldn’t need.
My thing is too deep down into it is “real work”. It’s not just your stuff you’re screwing with.
It’s why I don’t mind collaboration in the working it out stage. That’s the easy part.
I don’t like extra work xD
I already hate editing. And turning a friendship into a total chore is nightmare fuel.
Not that I’d never do it, just a lot of caution.
Not writing-writing but I was researching photos to use in AI generators to create my characters and now I have dozens upon dozens of pictures of handsome actors and models and random dudes saved in my folder and if someone found it, they’d think I had some unhealthy obsession or something.
It’s for a book, I swear!
Everyone’s got their secrets hehe
drops three books about astrology onto table Yep, this is what I’ve done for like the last week. I don’t even remember why ![]()
Lol story of my life with questionable history
Ooo child, this thread got buried. Bump!
I was looking up damp because someone else’s work made me curious about it as an option for “plot”.
Recently I researched if kangaroo meat is kosher. The answer is a resounding Nope. Guess some of my characters will be missing out.
Like the word or was this a show or something with the same name?
I hope they’re not stuck in a jungle starving or something because… Big oof
.
Maze options. I looked up mine damp because a labyrinth is often underground AND I’m used to gas in trapped places being an issue as my husband works in the home-gas industry. Didn’t realize that there are 4 different damps…
I’ve literally never heard of this until now, cool!
I was aware of explosion vs oxygen displacement, which would be 2. I still need to read up a bit more, but this is one of those “useless pieces of information” that could get you out of a plot slump, so it’s good to store for later.
Very nice!
