Did you know that there aren’t a set number of archangels?
Seriously, there isn’t.

Yes. If there was a set number, I’d have seen it mentioned as a specific number. That don’t happen.
As it is, sometimes something that would be considered an archangel is actually better translated as spirit of the Lord, or part of the Godhead, especially in passages where there are multiple aspects of God the 1 interacting with each other. Which makes you wonder just what went down in Sodom and Gomorrah. Was it angels or was it God Himself facing off with the citizens. Generally, everyone goes with it being angels.
I interpret angels as being closer to ai personally, so it could be both.
I just had to mention it because lots of stories that deal with them have a concrete number for them.
probably stems from something like Dante’s Inferno or some other weird similar era book…Maybe from Judiasm, as they had arguments over how many angels could fit on the head of pin (flat top needle)…considering how some visions had them big enough to have 1 foot on land and 1 foot at sea, I’ll go for 0, bob.
What if the angels are shapeshifters that can take the form of microbes, though?
I don’t think they’re supposed to have “bound to this universe” sizes, since they sound like beings in folded space, in the first place.
So if they are outerdimensional beings, they can fit and not fit on the head of a pin?
Exactly = wasting my time on a debate when the paradigm is the issue. lol
The more you know! I actually didn’t know that. Is it kind of similar to saints?
Saints are an entirely different concept all together, being deified humans with historical origins…unless you can argue that there was an actual Metatron that once existed…
It also depends on how fancy you get with it. Technically speaking anyone who has become a Christian is a Saint–they are sanctified by something outside themselves.

It’s a consecration, which is what baptism is, in the first place. This shouldn’t have ever become a special title as it’s just supposed to be a name for Christianst that they call themselves, instead of the insults of outsiders known as “Christians” or “Universalists” and things like that. (Many titles in Christendom start out as an insult, btw. People just own the insult and permeate the culture.)
What Saints are, in the sense of “more biblically accurate words” would be Apostles (authority proven by signs and wonders), those assigned by Apostles (anointing of some sort, beyond the immersion (baptism) everyone did), or going back to Jewish practices, a Prophet or Judge (depending on the era).
It’s derided as keeping minor gods and pantheons goiong–which was part of why Moses’ burial spot was deliberately forgotten, to prevent his deification by later generations.
Also… non-traditional outlining methods.
For example:replace your bullet point outline with a well-made playlist and … voila! Write with style ![]()
