I will do some trial writing, see if I can energize the paranormal one & if the characters will come alive.
too
many
ideas

I did some exercise, took a nice shower, and now I’m relaxing in my bed.
…I need to finish writing.
Heh, me too. But, editing first… I think I have a couple months of it still.
That’s the only way to fly
Got around 1k words written today, mostly character building and starting a minor subplot that’ll end by the end of the chapter along with a bit of commentary on 9/11 since the chapter I’m writing takes place on September 11th.
Character building is always cool
Also, for now, I don’t feel like writing fantasy… so… dunno. Still editing & editing ahead. Only did one chapter before work, so will be trying to do another afterwards.
I don’t know if this bookmark works, but it is a simple first-cut editing procedure
If I start plotting, planning, and outlining now, I wonder how long will it take me to finish if I stick with it.

It’s taken me a while to figure out how to continue the plot, but I think I’ll be able to finish this chapter soon
At last XD though I sense the next one will be action-heavy given what’s about to happen
May for planing, then 3 to 4 month for the first draft of 80 to 100K words. So, I would say September-October to see the story through
@NatilladeCoco good luck with the chapter!
So, are you saying that it normally takes around 3-4 months or something?
Forgive me for not paying attention and understanding.
Well, that’s if you write about 5K a week, right? 20K a month, 4 months to do 80K… if you do a little more, it can be about 100K. Personally, I could never go faster.
Alright, I am going to dedicate myself to planning, plotting, and outlining for three whole months. Then I shall write the first draft shortly afterward.
Sounds like a plan I think.
Well, you sure can do a lot of outlining in that time, but just don’t burn yourself out and create like huge setting document etc. I mean, unless you love it.
I am… yeah, you’ve guessed. Editing.
But I was also tossing ideas at the wall about how to make the start of that paranormal fantasy wlw story more energetic. With, like, conflict. Also, re-imagining the protagonist. I want her to be brazen.
Thanks a bunches!
you seem stuck. one moment you want to write the fantasy story, the next you want nothing to do with it as you have a lot of editing to do xD life of a write, amirite?
Nah, my editing is good, Lone Werewolf will get finished by the time I need to enter the mentorship application & I’m pretty sure what to do with the other books.
With the next book, yeah, it is a bit harder, but if I sketch the beginnings some more, I will eventually commit to one. I kindda always go through that process, because I hate this stage of committing to the next failure, lol. So, yup, I jot down the first chapters and see which one I can write with nobody reading it.
Plus, I guess, they said they thought it was more promising because it was paranormal, but, like, popular paranormal is always that abused girl who dies and have some grimdark love affair after death, lol.
For my next idea, I will use nineteen pictures for an inspiration that I saved on my board on Pinterest. These pictures are fantasy and science-fiction based. Yet they will come from Pinterest.
EDIT: I went over nineteen. Oh well. LOL!
Why not? I don’t know anything about Pinterest, but I think it’s like for anything you want.
Quiet day here, just editing, mostly a long chapter for Raised by the Mafia, and just one chapter for Lone Werewolf… looked a little bit at the story I want to write on Tapas too… but just a few words.
