This might end up as another chapter broken into two, but I want to get to the end of the whole scene before I decide. There is a fair bit still, the intimacy scene, then the argument. So, just keep writing tomorrow, slow and steady.
On the up side, I am more or less happy with how I want the finale to unfold.

I literally spent all day today trying to name stuff in my new book. In the process of naming things that I knew I needed names for, I realized that there was a whole realm of things I’d need to name later on in the book so I feel like I ran in place and got nothing done overall.
But, I’m happy with the name of the main organization, the Envisagers, and the weapons, Vesseless. Not so much the rest, but they’ll be great placeholders for now while I continue working on the 1st draft. Though, I also realized today that I need to create at least 5 commandments for the MC to “follow” since he needs rules to break (Lol), so I have a while yet before I can continue writing.
So yeah, I thought I could get away with writing before world building, but it doesn’t seem to be the case with this book as it often is with my others. Darn. Oh well. It’ll be fun once I get this all down and can move on!

Anyway, I am about to attempt to try and jot down notes for my story by watching a certain mecha anime.
So, I shall be watching and notetaking. This is very important.

I’m still working on the book I was writing during nano and I’ve reached a point where I can no longer make sense of the scenes I wrote or know how to put them together into one story.
I feel like I’m missing something. I likely need a few scenes to connect the dots, but at this point, I don’t know where the dots are anymore.
I need to take a step back and list all those scenes so I can figure out their order.
So now, the moment of decision: spreadsheet or index cards?
I’m a bit in the mood for the cards, (I’ve been living in spreadsheets for months), but it takes a good few hours to write it all down. By the time I’m finished, it will be too late to put them together. Hmmmmm.
I think I’ll do the cards anyway.
