Hello everyone.
I feel like working on two stories at once.
I have two stories with that set in the same fictional world/realm but with a different plot, story, and characters.
The two stories have nothing to do with each other. It is just that I rather focus on something pertaining to the world of Alterra…differently.
I’ve mentioned this before, and I am sick of talking about it again.
I am sorry either I do it or don’t. It is not a tough decision.
Well, at least I am not showing this story to people.
It will be my eyes only for the lengthy period.

Unfortunately out of 14 projects none of my characters are talking to me lately 
so I’m not making progress on anything

Tell me, what do you mean by when your characters talk to you? It is different for other people, but I am curious what that means for you.

The only way I can describe it is it’s like they’re literally talking to me. We can have full on conversations, or sometimes they’ll just kinda lurk but refuse to speak, and when I’m actually writing it’s basically like they’re telling the story and I’m just writing down what they say.

This is all in your mind, correct? Like they are talking to you in your mind, but you also somehow talk back.

Yeah basically. I know it sounds like I’m delusional or something but I’m fully aware they’re fictional and it’s just a subconscious way of processing my ideas. But treating them as anything but completely real makes them stop talking completely and then I can’t write at all

It can be frustrating, like now when I can’t do anything until they decide to talk and I can’t make them talk, but I also really love it. I feel like it makes it really easy for me to write complex, layered, developed characters and I just enjoy talking to them. I give some of them like Dom so much crap about being annoying but I hate it when they go quiet on me

It’s been meh. I made some really good progress on fixing a plot issue with one of my projects but actual writing has been practically nonexistent lately

Yeah that’s about all I can do sometimes. There are some tricks that encourage them to talk but they don’t always work
