Thank you for the offer! It is too early for that. I will see what Nick says about the other potential chapter 1, then I will decide what to work on. I don’t really want to ask for people’s time on things I might not write.
That is understandable.
I’m working on a semi-normal YA novel now. It’s more dreamlike than realistic.
I am thinking about revisting Rule 303.
I wanted to do more chapters, but I just can’t I am not up to the task.
So, all your books have different chapters, huh?
Quick question? Is the replicant important later on?
If so, I’d leave maybe the most important part of it as a “foreshadowing”, but dole out the rest much later in the story?
Nick’s workshop is a godsend for me atm, while trying to decide what I can handle as a writer this year, which book to chose. I had already received valuable advice on conceptual appeal, so the chapter one analysis is the second piece I need to hopefully chose well. I disengaged myself from my third concept on my own, but those two are both interesting to me.
Yeah. Widely so.
He is the love interest. And that was what I had, foreshadowing, and it made the chapter hard to read. Well, plus my writing is too much. I have a better place where it belongs.
Is it weird to have three main characters and two protagonists? lol.
Omg, I forgot the exciting news.
My long-time fan tipped me (I use Kofi).
This is the second time he has and he’s the only one that has. He’s one of those people that has read everything I’ve ever written/posted.
Recently, I’m getting a good amount of repeat readers that go from one of my stories to the next. I wonder what the ratio is of all fans to fans that are willing to tip you. I don’t think I’ll have any significant earnings until my stories get to a million reads (which at this rate could be many years), but I’m hopeful. Though I don’t write the popular stuff, I get by.
So as of yesterday, I’ve earned an entire $20 from my writing plus .02 cents on Tapas which I can’t cash in yet.
That’s great! Lol, my husband was surprised to see the grand total of my Tapas earnings show up on his PayPal, loool. I sure could quit my day job on that

I tend to leave foreshadowing to maybe a sentence, most the time. And I do it unconsciously, at that.
So much so that my husband catches on before I do, with the “Ah, I was wondering when that would come up again.”
Wait, what? Floors me: what the heck did I do now?
Like how much the hands of the MC in one of my elf stories don’t work right? Central part of who she is, casually mentioned early on because I was more focused on the fact that she’s a bad thief and all those consequences. Totally missed that I made her friggen clumsy.
Pantsing makes so many strange mistakes.
Not if it’s a FRIENDS episode.
Although, I thought goals were usually for Golden Girls.
It’s this David, urgh. He’s frustrating me.
I thought it was F * R * I * E * N * D * S
It is. Fat thumbs want to misspell bad enough without =©=¥×•=
Make him be vicaruous.
But I need someone to annoy the ever-loving shite out of Vicente.
Make him deliberately try to live Vicente’s life and V would be calm about that?
