If my husband doesn’t follow the urges, the rest won’t happen. So, not enough art, and writing is gone. Of course, his job isn’t allowing for any of that, right now.

Hi. I’m trying to figure out why Pandora was so shocked, her memory went kapoot.
She knows her mother’s crimes now already, so it’s not that.
She was even like her mother once, fighting the wrong enemy. The same goes for her twin brother and many siblings. Pandora is really, really close to her twin brother.
The memory missing is between her meeting with her personal guard in a hallway before going on a mission, and then her mother seeing her off on that same mission. There’s something that happened to Pandora in the middle of those two events (which happened on the same day) that was so shocking to her, her memory got distorted.
I have no idea what it could be, but I have some options:
- She finds out her father Poseidon threatened her mother to attack the wrong enemy.
- She finds out her siblings intend to send her to the enemy as a sort of peace-making marriage even though she’s got this massive crush on her personal guard and they know that.
- She finds out that the personal guard she has a crush on was trying to kill her mother. OR She catches him about to kill her mother.
- She catches her own trusted twin brother about to kill her mother with the help of another trusted person K.
Maybe 4 is most shocking considering how close she is with her brother? She thinks she can’t trust him anymore now and also doesn’t want to believe he would do such a thing? And she was also beginning to be close with the trusted person K. K would later reunite with her and their meeting would jog her memory.
Maybe option 4?

Well, the thing is, SHE is going to have to do it if her mother doesn’t die from war 
So, it’s actually a good thing they were doing. She just didn’t know it had to be done at the time.
So, yes, I could make everyone she trusted as secretly plotting her mother’s death.

True. She didn’t know and would refuse, so…who was going to do it? Well. Maybe the guard, the brother and K can all have worked together to try to get the mother killed, but fail because Pandora discovers them?
Personal guard: I’m on order to protect her. Not hurt her.
Brother: It’s my mother, too. But it must be done.
Trusted K: I guess that leaves me.

If you wanted convoluted, you could have that meeting between the 3 done at the same time as her parents are having it out.
I can handle all hell thrown at me, individually, but if you keep stacking it, there’s going to be cracks.
But then I’m the type to knuckle under everything until the finish line is in sight and THEN have my meltdown right before or after it, depending on how long it has been.

I just realized that Faust’s family are a bit abusive and strange.

They did name him Faust, they had to be a little odd.
But then again, in some countries people have names like Fausto or Fausta and it’s not weird at all.

His older brothers are named Hyde and Mephisto. While his older sisters are named Mariona and Stephanie.

It’s funny because Faust is his parents’ favorite while his siblings are not. Especially Hyde, nobody really cares about him all that much.
Mephisto is an interesting case since he is both the problem child and a psychopath in the making. He could have been the one to lead the family but he is too wild and crazy to deal with.
Faust is destined to take over the family and is a bit of a genius. He is he youngest person in the family and the responsibility lies with him. Even though he doesn’t want it.

Editing for commas in A Kinder Children’s Tale.
So my reaction to my finished story I’m thinking about putting up is a bit more consistent than I expected.
The ML is comitting to a relationship that he doubts will last, but os seriously about it, even of it causes him grief.
I noticed that this parallels my caring for my mother at the end. The hopeless was of both situations, but still quietly going about living in both cases about caused me to bawl.
At least the distressed reaction is gone.

Ah, I understand.
On the topic of Faust, I wanted him to become the black sheep and unfavorite of the family. It is starting to look like Hyde will take his place.
Gah! I need to write the bickering between Faust and Hyde now!

I coughed up the dough and got myself Campfire at last.
I got four modules. I didn’t get the manuscript module yet. I’ll keep the actual writing in Google Docs for now, especially since everything is written. Once I’m working on a new project, I might revisit, but for now, this will do.
The most important module is the Encyclopedia. Really, it can replace nearly all modules, it’s so flexible.
I’m working on templates and got a couple of good ones done already.
I think it will be a great exercise to transfer the many, many notes from my many, many documents and store them like this. It will be like the great cleansing, find notes I forgot about, discard trash, save unused good ideas for a rainy day.
It will be a long process but I’m so looking forward to the finished thing!

There’s a way to share your project with others to let them explore the world you’ve created but they have strict copyright rules, which means no images…
So I won’t be able to share until I can secure free stock or maybe draw my own artwork. That’s not my priority so it could be a while.
