It’s all bullshit. War.
Just one troll though… oh, well.
for now u^u
… hm, that feels like a threat
it’snotipromise
Definitely. It’s about setting expectations. I have some good set up in the first chapter so I think there’s space to make it more epic but:
- I don’t want it to turn info-dumpy.
- There will be a big contrast with the next number of chapters which take place in a very much not epic setting. So if I turn up the heat on that first chapter, the next few would be a disappointment.
I don’t know. Maybe it’s just my inability to judge how much info is too little info.
…
And, btw, screw that troll with their unhelpful comment. Let their negativity fuel the algorithms in your favor.
It’s always soooo hard! Well, give it a shot. If you like how the show is doing it, there is not harm in trying.
Here’s my rant:
I finally got back into writing! YAY!
Cue party
The bad part is that only two characters talk to me, and they want either Chapter 2 of the first book or a dialogue-based outline of their reunion scene in Book 4.
Should I write another story while working on my anthology novel?
Hmm…I really want to see what it would be like to focus on a novel that is centered on action and some grand epic adventure in the futuristic fantasy world.
Not sure what to do. I am thinking about trying something different with the new story though.
Still, it shall be set on Alterra but with a different cast of people.
Any thoughts?
So, I did write today.
A tiny bit frustrated that I still haven’t reached the fairy battle. Next session for sure.
Depends on how determined you are to get your current story done
Are you trying to say that I should finish my current story then focus on the next one instead of doing both stories at the same time?
Am I misunderstanding things or not?

For which?
Guess who just finished part 3 of chapter 3?
Me!
Being a bum who is doing nothing is irking my nerves, but this eye twitch is distracting.
Well, if you are determined to get the story done in a certain amount of time, you might focus on your current story. If not, take time off of it and work on something else, why not?
Well, I am working hard on my current story so I was just wondering and making a suggestion.
So, having another story interfere might do more harm than good since things are going so smoothly.
sigh Such as life…
LOL!
That’s the writing life for ya ![]()
If things are going smoothly, put the new story into a corner, and focus.
You’re on a roll, qualeshia, you got this
It’s been so nice to hear that you’re finally writing Alterra stories! ![]()
Thank you so much. I shall do that and put the story somewhere I can reach it for another time.
Thanks for being encouraging.

Thank you once again, Wisp!
You’re always so kind!
