Grats!!!
Yaaaay! Congratulations!! ![]()
Thank you!!! I’d given up every hope but it finally happened XD
thank you so much! <3
I am always keeping you as a beacon of hope. You work hard and in the end you found the reception.
At this stage I don’t care about having all my stories sticking to the hero’s journey because not every damn story is going to follow that structure.
omg shucks, dont say that! blushes
Your time is coming, I truly believe it! The Fireman’s Girl is so amazing, I truly believe it can get somewhere, even if it’s off Wattpad, you’ll get somewhere!
It’s annoying when people try and force stories into certain archetypes when they won’t work that way :
Heh, it can’t even get to 1K reads, so I highly doubt it. But I am going to try to write complete and utter trash after I am done with it for Radish and hope it will get reads.
I’ve just hit 20K views, and part of me is wondering if it’s just because I added fan art and fan-made memes to the end of my book. Well there you have it then, the secret to success. The funny thing is I swear I was at 18K or so (rounding down to the nearest thousand as Wattpad does) a few weeks ago, and I haven’t seen a spike in votes or comments that I would expect. Huh.
It totally can! I believe in it! Heh, sometimes writing trash is so much fun
Weirdly, my trash story is the one they picked up for Creators, so YOU GOT THIS
Oh, I mean doing stuff I wouldn’t post on Wattpad. Like Claimed by Him level of trashiness. I’ll leave Wattpad for passion projects to workshop. I want so badly to write a book people would just read… if I can’t, I might as well quit.
You can! look at your stats! They’re so good! And you got onto paid! Thats no easy feat
writing is so freaking hard, to get the amount you have is amazing! You can do it!
nothing beats that sweet sweet writing streak.
Nah, I didn’t earn it by readership. And readership is the only thing that counts to me.
Okay, I’m 9 chapters into the book. Time to actually get to the plot ![]()
44K. One more scene and this chapter is done. The trick would be to make it emotional from description that echoes the same items as seen in the house in earlier scene. Because his house is now burning. And it should convey his horror that his dad may be dead in the fire as he is looking for him.
Damn, woke up with my head a total but I am locked into 3 hours of meetings in another hour, so hope to at least start some editing ![]()
I might actually just do editing to do both my prep for release of the She Kills and to be able to release chapter 11 of Fireman’s Girl tomorrow.
Tbh, I am inclined to not bring She Kills back to Wattpad and just leave it at Radish once I start posting it. I already have lots of books on Wattpad and should focus on getting as many reads for each of them as possible. And post more on Radish, since at least in a few categories people see them there.
It is definitely a struggle to get reads on all stories once you start having a larger assortment of stories on your profile (although WP does seem to want authors to churn out stories, they also make it remarkable hard for you to sort those stories on your profile for easier navigation, which doesn’t help). So might be better to focus your efforts! (I’m kind of regretting posting my original stories on the same profile as my fanfictions, as that does make my profile very cluttered and unfocused, but I’m also too lazy to constantly log in and out
)
aw man
that’s too many meetings
