The other turning points are discoveries/revelations. This one is pure action to demonstrate a revelation (a betrayal).
Lol, I wouldn’t have said anything except it was like 4x for one half and 2x for the other. Excitement makes for repeats. Most all of us do that in regular writing.
Now, what I’m curious about is what this other guy thinks will fix a god’s ire? What in this world is stronger than a god?
There’s also the option of looking for things that predate the Gods. Like if your God just springs for from a rock, that primordial egg may be stronger than the Gods.

Bethany realizes her mother is actually… and that the Wise Woman is actually… and that Bethany herself is actually… And then she turns into a rat which is her truest self.
Let’s see what she learns about herself as a rat. She’s also adorable.

All I want to do is write my NaNoWriMo novel. I’m having serious attention span issues at the moment. I’m enjoying these 2 books I’m currently writing but all I can think of is new shiny things and I want to focus on something else.
Maybe I’m getting bored of plain romance and genre mash ups with mystery and/or urban fantasy/paranormals are becoming more my thing.
