I wasn’t writing anything really, watching the competitions since they are pretty long, like 10-11 hours per day, starting at 4 am my time… it’s all done now, and my girl Trusova pushed herself from 12th place into bronze by crazy 5-quad skate and a last minute injury troubles for Kihira (no funny business, just injuries).
Going to try writing atm, but I am having a bit of a slump. Hoping to start fresh word count tomorrow, so just wanna figure out what I was writing about etc, maybe put in a couple hundred words, stuff like that.

Okay, for the new word count! I finished the fighting chapter leading to the final confrontation, but I decided to move the conversation about the history of the treasure before the final fight breaks out, so I can give all the attention after the fight to the resolution of the love story, and not worry about the treasure’s fate.
Word count sits at 66.4K but it includes my notes for the scene sequence from the outline.

Good writing day today! Got through the lore and the major scene. Just three more, and I am done… also couldn’t resist editing & posting another chapter to resurrect the book.
Total word count is 68.1K

Haven’t been very productive in the past few days (probably written about 100 or so words), mostly because I’m finishing up some R4Rs and catching up on a ton of homework. I guess the only thing that’s not stressing me out as much as before are college decisions because I managed to get into my top choice, something that I did not expect after getting rejected from a whole bunch of schools with similar acceptances rates. Hopefully, with less stress, I can finally focus more on writing since I’m at a bit of a dead end right now.

Ah, I thought I had it, but I am too tired. Finishing at 69.7K with one scene to go. And, lol, some sketchy ending of the previous scene

Aaand… ta-da!!! Had to borrow a bit of time after lunch, but I just HAD to finish it.
At 71.2K the first draft of Raised by the Mafia is FINISHED.
So, I’ll officialy kick off the editing season for this year’s Watty tomorrow! The books to edit are Lone Werewolf, Trapped by the Mafia, Raised by the Mafia and How to Marry Your Dragon!

Day 1 of editing… I got to the point where I need to actually write an insert chapter that highlights the soulmate theme I am trying to strengthen in the rewrite. I started on it, but I have a day off tomorrow, so will write the synopsis for next week’s workshop.
Also, yup, hopefully can publish another chapter of Raised by the Mafia

No synopsis yet, but I wrote the insert chapter I was planning and an info insert on Russian names, so now I have 7 chapters edited and loaded in draft on Wattpad, updated on Tapas… and no synopsis.
So, yeah, nothing much is happening.
