Struggling Writers’ Daily Den: rant, share, complain, ask, daily progress thing (Part 2)

Ah, I see! That sounds simpler that the standard traditional publishing in a sense, but only if you have the funds for it, I suppose.
I believe I’ve heard of that site, but totally forgot about it! LOL!

Thanks again!

Reading is interesting again!
I had to get one of those text to speech thingies where they read things aloud so that I can better get immersed into the story.

I am “reading” original fiction that is on Fictionpress, because I have a bunch of different stories saved on that site that I barely even read.

I knew this, but couldn’t be bothered to deal with it. Now, I am going to attempt to get more of this feature.

Thank you, Firefox!

NOTE: The one thing that I dislike about most text to speech devices is that the voices are a bit robotic or too robotic. It only makes sense because the human voices that come with some text to speech devices are costly and probably hard to find. I have no money to spend on such luxuries.

So, I suck it up and deal with the robotic voices.

I really need to plot/plan and write this story series!
The main issue is that I haven’t the faintest clue on what I should now make this story series about.

Like I just don’t know what to make of this story about.
I am going to create some characters in the hopes that would help me out a bit.

I have to redo my character profile list again and make it shorter, but also less complicated yet to the point.

Look at the changes I made to this overall series that I have a strong feeling I will be working on for a long while.

Is this the thing that actually started out as the Tales of Alterra?

Yup. It expanded and changed in a sense.
Just like a growing yet complicated child.
LOL!

I have more than one font that I like to use for my writing which are:

Arial.
Cambria.
Century Gothic.
Oswald.
Georgia (looks really nice and will start using).
Candara.
Lobster.

These are really great and Time New Roman bothers and bores me severely.

Side Note Question: Does anyone do indent when they write their novels, far as the paragraphs?

Please tell me that you do. It feels weird as hell if I don’t indent the paragraph. Like something is lacking or whatever.

oooo fonts, i really like cardo! you have to download it but it’s free.

not when i’m writing, but when i format i indent everything after the first paragraph. you’ll see that in a lot of books, too. the first paragraph at the start of chapters or after time skips and stuff isn’t indented. you can usually tell someone did their own formatting because they forget that detail, and i think it looks weird when they do

What???
I’ve always indented the first paragraph! Oh my god, you are right because books actually do that.

Why didn’t I get that sooner?
I am so use to indenting that is feel strange not to, regardless if it is the first paragraph or not.
