Thank you. Seriously, you should check out some of these manga (only if you want to), and the same with the psychological ones I am going to list down.

walked to the library to write. dropped 1 headphone between the door and the sitting area. it vanished :,)

it’s freezing out too, man, walking to the mall for a new set is gonna suck.

Did the headphones break, or something else?

Damn, that does suck.

Were those your favorite headphones? Did you recently purchase them?

hope whoever has my 1 headphone enjoys the 2 hours of battery left on it bc i did not charge it earlier and it won’t shut itself off without the case.

I’m beginning to see a pattern of me listening to Load when I’m off adderall.

What to do now? Hmm…I wonder.

I could write for a bit, but distraction is going to be kill me.

Off Topic: I think I found a place where I could see if I actually have ADHD. The problem is if they take my insurance or not. I am calling Monday.

On Topic: No writing since I am way too distracted and unsure of what to do about a brand-new story idea.

good luck! ADHD is often misdiagnosed in adult women. It would be a good idea to compile a list of your symptoms for your doctor. If you want I can find you some resources to look through to help you prepare; the DSM-V page on adhd, some self-assessments, stuff like that.

Even if you don’t get in to see a doctor, there are tons of things you can try to help your symptoms! reward systems for productivity, organization systems for object permanence, stim toys for sensory regulation. Let me know if you want any information on this stuff too!

debating if i should go to the library today. I don’t normally leave the apartment on Sundays and it’s -35c with the windchill right now. On the other hand, it would make up for the time I lost yesterday and I think it would be good for my mental health to go out a little more.

Thank you so much for saying that.

I was diagnosed with bipolar depression, but years later in my twenties I knew something wasn’t right with me, yet I ignored it.

Now, I regret that I did. My whole life was a lie and I severely blamed myself for it. Now, I know it wasn’t my fault.

Do you suffer from ADHD?

it definitely wasn’t all your fault. Not enough research has been done on ADHD in women which means not enough doctors recognize it. It’s very common to be diagnosed with depression and anxiety instead, when those are symptoms of untreated adhd

i don’t, officially i don’t have any diagnoses at all because i’ve never gone to a doctor :s

but most of my friends are adhd/audhd and i’ve done a lot of independent research.

There’s a whole ton of related disorders to it. It’s clearly ADHD that is the mainstay of the recent generations in my family, but there’s a related one that can cause an otherwise adult mind to be very childlike, which was something my father hated in his mom. (She was born in 1920, none of this is diagnosed stuff. )
