Yes, the food is a big thing too! Food is one of the reasons why we want (or don’t want) to visit another place or use an airline again. When we talk about a travel experience we’ve had, that’s one of the first things that comes to mind XD

and that’s also why I’m relieved I can take ANA back home. Their food is good even for economy class!

Whoa, so cool! Your dad would fit in with my family because we also love traveling too, especially during the summer :joy: granted, we could’ve gone to the US more (me, my dad, and my bro got a 10-year multiple-entry tourist visa), but after a couple of trips we were like “let’s explore Europe instead” XD

My only clear memory of Boston was when we visited the Harvard campus. Other than that, I don’t remember much of Boston.

If you’re wondering why I responded late, I had to travel to another state because my flight’s departing from an airport in another state, and I didn’t have wifi (I do have cellular data on my other phone with the US number, but it’s super slow and all). I’m borrowing someone’s desktop computer rn. I don’t know how I’ll active I’ll be for the next few days, flying and all, so if I don’t respond for a while I’m sorry

Both educational and the comments below are great!

So true! Food is bae xD  I was so sad when my parents went to Greece and I couldn’t come — mainly because of the food :joy: ANA, huh? :eyes: Another one to try to get on xD

My mom did her masters over there, so we stayed for quite a while. Everyone loves travelling in this family, we’re just lazy to move around :joy: Europe was a gift, though I froze my fingers off

That is their main attraction, in a sense

Nah, don’t worry about it! I get easily distracted between thigns anyways, and tend to reply late as well, so I don’t mind!

Whoa, your mom has a master’s degree? So cool! I think out of all the people in my extended family, only one or two have a master’s degree, and I have a lot of relatives XD

Europe is amazing :star_struck: I wasn’t able to visit it while it was snowing there, sadly, but I have visited it when it was cold. I love the cold :joy:

The university I’m attending is its town’s main attraction too :joy: I think it’s also their only “real” attraction. I don’t know them for anything else :joy:

“Out of Control” by Battle Beast should be on more villain playlists.

You know you’re back home when it’s 3 in the morning and you’re trying to sleep, but you can’t because the mosques’ speakers are keeping you awake.

Anyway, it’s probably around midnight there for a lot of you. How’s it going?

Hey Churro! How’s your writing going?

It could be better, why?

You?

Oh, I was just wondering how it was going, since last time you said you felt like strangling your character, haha.

It’s going okay. I haven’t updated my current project, but I also have another novel and three poetry compilations to work on. I think I’m going to focus more on reading during this winter break.

Who was it? Duke or Adrian? :joy:

I am glad that you can focus on reading. Reading is always good, eh?

I think it was Adrian XD you haven’t mentioned Duke to me before.

Yeah, reading is good. I did that on my flight home and I’m now more than halfway through the book, but I had to stop because there was turbulence and reading the book while it was shaking made me a bit nauseous.

Yeah, probably lol… I left Adrian somewhere with an alien at 8k

Which book was it?

Haha, are they getting along well?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I’m reading it right now, with ambient jazz music playing from my laptop in the background. Once my gadgets are fully charged, then I’ll stop reading. There isn’t a socket next to the bed, unfortunately, so I can’t charge and use my stuff on bed like I usually do.

He’s topless outside, and she’s wearing his shirt. And Adrian, apparently never feels the cold, which is a lie 'cause he’s trying to seem tougher than he is.

Harry Potter and jazz music? :joy: What a random combination. I guess that reading is a good way to kill time. So is looking at science stuff.

 I have a character who absolutely hates the cold—well, it’s understandable, because he’s a fire-wielder. Later in the book I’m going to station him at a very cold and dangerous place, and he’s going to hate every minute of it :joy:

I find jazz music suitable for reading almost anything, especially study materials. Earlier on the flight I was listening to classical music while reading Harry Potter—Satie, Debussy, and tons of Chopin. I might make a YouTube playlist for one of my stories, so that you can listen while reading.

Science stuff is pretty cool too, especially when they do those flashy experiments or explain random things.

Adrian is being a weirdo, to be honest. He’s going through his super-macho phase, lol. That sounds great tbh, placing a character that hates the cold in my freezer (it is pretty dangerous in there, never know that you’ll find lol). Joking aside, I hope it develops his character more.

That’s interesting. I usually listen to loud music for inspiration, fast music. Not most people’s thinking music tbh. Yeah, you should make a playlist.

I’m re-learning the periodic table. Shoulda did this 10+ years ago lol.

Ah, that kind of phase, trying to act all tougher than you are. Lol. And thanks! He’s going to hate the cold, but while he’s there, the stuff that he’ll face will force him to unlock more of his potential. Him being in a cold area is actually part of a test to see if he’s worthy of being promoted—it’s covered by the latest entries of Edin’s diary.

Nice. For me, sometimes I write better when I’m not listening to music, but other times it helps. I take inspiration from a lot of genres—pop, artcore, video game soundtrack, classical, jazz, all that stuff. I’ll probably work on the playlist later.

LOL. When I was in sixth grade we learned to memorize the first twenty elements of the periodic table, but when I moved school, we never bothered to memorize it, haha. They just gave us the table during tests and exams.

Adrian used to be in a relationship with Marvin and he was the less masculine one (he’s not effeminate, or anything but compared to Marvin he was the ‘artsy nerd’/‘smooth operator’ kinda guy). I think he wants to kinda explore things a bit and see if his softer side was a phase, or he is still softer. Weirdo, I know.

That sounds good xD But a bit mean. A test. I hope he passes it and is promoted now.

Artcore sounds interesting. Have fun.

Wow, I would have wanted to go there lol.
