What are your projects and favorite things? And let's chat :D

Me, too

Harajuku, yes. Like, kawaii fashion, right? There’s these really bright types aren’t there? I think those people have a level of fashion confidence that goes through the roof. I’ve seen interviews of those people and they often seem like introverts which is pretty interesting. For some reason, they can shout their individuality through fashion and they’re comfortable with that.

I’m unsure about audiobooks. I did try once though.

What about podcasts? You can have a spoopy story on in the background—though a lot of the stories features are pretty terrifying.

Hmm, I don’t remember, no. It’s been too long. I’ll have to watch again.

I hope you don’t mind if I take a few of these ideas, I actually really like them. If anything it makes me made I didn’t think of them!

Well, where do I listen to them? :stuck_out_tongue: If I can’t listen to them on the computer, likely to not listen at all because I don’t like earphones or headphones  The sound is too close.

Sure thing! Take whatever you like  Happy to help.

Yeah, like that! Lolita and Harajuku are both kawaii fashion, but Lolita is a little more pastel and cutesy imo. I think it makes sense that a lot of introverts have bright/loud fashion. I’m incredibly introverted and wearing cool outfits kind of feels like armour. Like I can hide under the accessories and control what people see when they look at me, even if it unintentionally draws more eyes ;-;

Is it kind of like…you feel like you can embody a different version of yourself? A more extroverted version?

Am I making sense? My brain is only running on caffeine right now XD

a little bit, yeah. Like putting on a little plastic skin or dressing up a video game avatar, so there’s outside me who gets to go out and be put together and talk to people, and inside me who gets to go home to my cat and just chill.

Projects: (well, project, more like)

  1. Sandwich’s Theory (yet another sci-fi, time travel, wacky goofy thing. Ugh, I can never escape this, can I?)

New Favourite Things:

  1. I’ve recently rekindled my love for Spotify and I’ve been listening to some early 2000 beats lately. It’s been great!
  2. I’ve also read a few books lately. My favourite one has to be The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and it really took me in for a great ride!

Sounds cool

I haven’t read Da Vinci Code yet, but I did read Inferno. Dan Brown is such a talented writer, isn’t he?

Oh he is! I was practically cheering the main leads on! Left me at the edge of my seat.

Same with Inferno, and the twist had me staring at the pages in shock.
Have you read this one?

No, unfortunately. My dad had the Da Vinci Code lying around and I picked it up to read. These days he’s been little reluctant on getting me books, even if they’re secondhand.
I’ve tried reading ebooks and all, but it isn’t as thrilling as a physical copy.
Maybe I’ll read it if my local library has a copy!

Funny similarity there. My mom had a copy of Da Vinci Code XD I remember her reading it. Unfortunately, before I could even become interested in the book, she gave it away to someone.

I feel the same :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, you definitely should pick up Inferno! I’d love to hear your thoughts when you get around to it

Oh man, I am so sorry! Books are meant to be kept around and treasured.

I’ve heard Inferno was some sort of prequel/sequel in the Robert Langdon universe and I’m looking forward to reading all of his books, actually!

I’m writing something without much plot because I don’t think that it needs to be complicated, and have much plot, especially after writing 50k words in less than a month for the Wattys lol.
