It’s defs not all I talk about. I’m not that oblivious I used to do friend check-ins once a month to see ho everyone’s doing and people used to check in on me but once I said I was getting sick and especially after I found out it’s permanent, they all ditched me. A lot of them had already ditched me as a friend because they got romantic partners but to all vanish after I get news like that? Low blow, dudes. Low blow. They don’t even open my texts anymore 
I have no idea what these things are
The only one we own is the horse who is a grumpy old man. We also have lots of local wildlife - birds, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, birds, rabbits. We used to have sheep and were going to have cows but that didn’t end up happening.
Right now, there are two Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos eating seeds off a plate I put out for them and they keep staring at my breakfast . . . One of them thinks they’re being sneaky and keeps moving towards the door when it thinks I’m not looking. I just looked at it now and it stopped walking and is standing on one foot like “oh shit. she saw me. what do i do now”

He’s 10 and in his retirement. I used to do horse riding when I was younger but had to stop after a knee injury. In the case of this horse, he will let you saddle him up and get on his back but he won’t let you ride him

My mom went to Australia and she loves to tell the story of her first time seeing a fruit bat and being terrified at how big they are, and she likes to say (with an evil laugh) that everything in Australia is poisonous.
How true are these stories?

You’re more likely to get gutted by a kangaroo than poisoned. Like I said, most of our wildlife is pretty chill. Just don’t be an idiot and you’ll be fine

It doesn’t happen much anymore, but I used to get people saying “I like sushi” to me when they find I’m from Japan. Er…I don’t 
Or people who ask me what my favorite anime is…assuming I like anime like everyone does in Japan. Er, not everyone likes anime
I used to see videos saying “Japan is like this EVERYWHERE” when it’s not true at all 
They probably think it’s phantom snow.
Not justifying those people who like to claim things like that. I think people get that idea because they’re from the other side of the equator. I forget seasons are backwards and the sun rises from a different place depending on which side of the equator you’re on.
