“Oh yes! And you know, wild animals will eat anything.” Hailey shrugs and traipses up to the house. “I was told to meet my teacher here.” She starts to look around. The house looks abandoned.

Gio’s group spawns at the cafe to meet up with friends XD.

“What’s that face for?” Lockie turns to Robin with a toothy grin as she starts grabbing somoe purple goop called “monster pasta”.

He nods. “I don’t mind sharing since you’re cleary a man of culture.” He winks a hazel eye, drawing the attention from the pimples and dark spots that usually drew the eye.

“Wait! So these are memories?!” he gasps aloud.

Oh! Magic dude! Yes, he was moody and magical! I think Hailey might’ve hit on him lol.

Hailey continue to look around for her teacher, not noticing the weird look.

Yessei blips over in a green blur to stand beside Casus. “You’re the one who wants the portal, right? I don’t really make portals, but I can take you to Uclialan.”

“She’s a soothsayer.” Stardust scowls. “She already knows where you’re going and she’s to get there.”

Yessei shrugs with a grin. “Well, don’t reveal all my secrets just yet.”

Stardust follows Hailey, sticking her nose in a window of the house to look around. “Your teacher? Of what kind?”

“Oh? Teleportation?” Casus asks.

“Oh, just wondering how much this’ll cost,” Robin explains.

“Do dragon scales count as money?” Melody asks.

“Melody those are for potions-”

“Hey guys!” Aiden says when the two groups get back to each other.

“Oh, who’s that?” Melody asks about Pearl.

Isaac does in fact notice.

He stares without realizing he’s doing that.

“Essentially,” Jacob nods.

Now a few scenes of the wedding, with Buddy as the ringbearer in one of them.

Wait, I think Hailey only appeared to give them the ladder-

Casus blinks.

Amethyst is bored and also looks around :eyes:

“Oh, he’s the one who sends things to eat us,” Hailey chuckles nonchalantly and opens the door to the place. It’s dusty as hell and sends her into a sneezing fit.

“Human who got turned by a werewolf necklace.” Gio shrugs because that’s literally all he absorbed form their earlier convos lol.

Lockie: “No, no, it’s all free. They wouldn’t make students pay for food. You’re our guests, so I’m just using my discount card.”

Welp, there goes his little burst of confidence XD.

Denzel shuffles shyly. “Um… I’ll be back.”

“Why is this so cute? We might do something like this for the royals in my realm. They’re using magic?”

Stardust manages to get out a “what?” before sucking in dust and coughing it out. “Say again? He sends things to eat you?” She blinks. “That doesn’t sound like any teacher I’ve ever had. What subject is this for?”

“Yeah, that’ll work.”

Casus glances warily at the house.

Amethyst is slightly less wary, and walks a few paces forwards.

“I can actually sense some magic related things, and I can feel something about this amulet…I’m not sure what, though…” Pearl murmurs.

“Can I hold it?” Aiden asks Pearl suddenly.

“Aiden,” Sage shakes her head.

“I love free food!” Melody exclaims.

“Omg Mel-” Robin facepalms at her reaction to that-

also…I’m assuming an animal wouldn’t be able to just walk right in? :eyes:

“Oh, ok…” Isaac is now worried.

“It is cute,” Jacob agrees. “And yup, magic.”

Yessei stretches a hand out to Casus, looking into his eyes. “Just think about where you want to go, and we’ll both wind up there.”

“Well, my author can’t be bothered to remember the name of the subject right now, so let’s just say it’s similar to a gym class and military survivalist training all balled into one.” She smiles.“Come on, don’t make me go inside by myself.” She gestures for them to join.

It’s a magical world… There’s portals to other worlds :eyes:.

“Eat up, girl. Take your fill,” Lockie giggles and grabs her boyfriend’s hand now that they’re back together again.

Denzel will be fine, his bestie made him have a tough skin… Speaking of!

A girl a bit of the shorter and rounder side with dark skin and twinkling blue-green eyes with hints of yellow in them approaches Isaac with a curious look.

“Is it strictly elf magic?”

He thinks of a small town in Uclialan.

Amethyst walks up to her.

A wolf pup appears out of nowhere :eyes:

Melody continues grabbing food, not noticing the wolf.

Pearl, however, does notice.

“Oh my gosh! How’d you get here?” she asks, picking the pup up, who instantly shoves his face against her arm.

“Oh, hi,” Isaac says, waving.

Jacob nods.

“Yes, it’s all elf magic.”

“What are you doing sneaking around?” a gruff southern drawl from behind them.

“…If you say that’s another one of you, I quit.” Gio crosses his arms like he’s really going on strike.

The girl looks behind Isaac to where Denzel left. “Do we know you? I’ve never seen you around.” She leans in slightly with her hands still on her full hips.

Pat starts devising a plan. “Good deal. How can we bottle that to use in my realm?”

It’s def a grandfather line.

Crap… I’m going off memory for how this character looks because I’m too lazy to go look at the story.

A lanky man with curly brown hair and… I think they’re brown eyes, but if they’re blue later we’ll just pretend they were always that color. Anyway! A lanky man with curly brown hair and two eyes walks in more. He’s actually surprisingly handsome in a rustic cowboy way, and he’s even dressed in the matching jeans and white tee with spurs on his boots.

“Did ya max out your stealth points? Why is ya sneakin’?”

(Omg I’m remembering how annoying his dialogue was to write right now and I wanna cry…)

“Howdy, Mr. Raven!” Hailey pretends to tip a non-existent cowboy hat in his direction.

The man’s lips quirk up a bit at the sides, showing his laugh lines and dimples that are broken up by a long three-toed scar going across his face.

Casus looks around.

“Alright, now to see if my sister managed to get here, and to look for the mayor of this town.”

Amethyst glances over her shoulder.

“Oh, hello there,” she says.

Everyone looks over curiously.

“Do you mean getting turned into a wolf by the amulet?” Pearl asks. “Because no, this is an actual wolf.”

The pup lets out a tiny yip, looking at everyone else nervously.

Isaac shakes his head.

“No, I came from a portal, after using another portal to get to that place with some other people,” he explains.

Jacob blinks.

“Uh, I don’t think we can…”

Stardust snickers, soaking in the details of his features. “If you thought that was sneaking, you’ll have a hard time finding me when I’m actually sneaking.”

Yessei peers around. “Would she look like you?”

He looks right at her antenna because of course he does. Then he looks at the other new friend. “Are ya transfers? I hadn’t heard about new people shadowing…”

Hailey starts counting silently on her fingers…

Gio quirks a brow. “And you understand it?”

Lockie looks at the group. “Wait… You weren’t here before.” She points at Pearl after counting the members.

“…I’m not evenn goingto question that. And you’re Denzel’s friend?” She sounds shocked.

“Then can I make a treaty?”

“Kind of. She has blond hair like me, but it also has pink rings all over. Her eyes are amber. And she’s currently wearing a pink T-shirt.”

Amethyst shakes her head.

“No, I came here with these two after meeting both of them.”

She tilts her head.

“You haven’t seen any dogs or cats by chance, have you?”

Thorn quickly explains the whole thing with the amulet to Lockie, while Sage cautiously extends her hand to the pup.

“That’s the thing,” Pearl said. “I couldn’t understand animals before, then when I was in wolf form I came across this pack of wolves and could understand them. But even though I’m no longer in wolf form, I can still understand him.”

The pup is currently wagging his tail a bit while Sage gently scratches behind his ears.

Also why am I tempted to make the pup talk, like something happened when he came to another world to give him that ability-

“I mean, I just met him so I’m not sure how he feels about me,” Isaac says.

Jacob looks confused.

“For?”
