True, there’s been quite a bit of problems in ps. I’ll PM the file to you, if that’s alright? I tried the previous version, and the same thing happened.
That is so weird… yeah, for sure, let me load PS up for the day and I’ll check it before I start working.
Is Photoshop opening other files, and saving other files, without the error?
Thank you! And yes, all my other files are working fine. I even tried copying this file to another folder, and it opens up the composite data only so no layers, but the original file won’t open at all.
I need some help with this cover, please?
I’ve been trying to design a black and white, minimalist cover, but it feels off ![]()
here it is:
those dots are supposed to be stars btw, maybe I should change that?
I was trying to make it more like these:
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated ![]()
edit: took @/LadyOfTheRiver and@/Zena’s suggestion. How’s this?

edit 2: I made six new covers
they’re right here
Maybe consider having the full silhouette on the cover, not just half? Or inverting the colours?
hmm, I’ll try that. Thanks
I agree w @/LadyOfTheRiver; maybe you could something such as inverting the colors (like they suggested) and make it so that the person’s “holding” the words and it seems like they’re coming/floating out (sort of like a play on words)?
@Zena @anon25068527 thanks for the advice! Is this better?

Woah! That’s amazing. Maybe… if there were small dots inside the head, gradually getting larger until the bottom? And if they do, where they overlap the text, make it white?
But pretty!
thanks! working on it right now
So prettyyy!! Is there a significant subject/object/theme in your book? Maybe you could do something inside the head? (since I feel like there a lot more space there compared to the rest…)
Thank you! There is no significant object. It’s a poetry collection
I’m thinking of putting dots there, or maybe I should put stars there instead
LOL Oooh, that’d be a great idea~
Maybe a combo? Like small dots transitioning into bigger dots then slightly bigger stars transitioning in smaller stars going down… I’m not too sure; I’m not really that good at predicting how things look w/o trying
I LOVE THAT-
Sorry, my pronouns are they/them.
I’M SO SORRY- I’M GONNA GO FIX THAT-
thank you.
