I edited my prologue and first chapter and both are ready to go minus the fact that I still need to pick four names for characters.
But, I’m currently like 600 words below 2k and every time I open my draft to start writing the second chapter my mind just goes blank.

So far I haven’t written anything so I’m a bit worried. It’s only day three though so I’m trying to cheer myself up.
Not sure what the hold up is. Maybe the mood? I’m not sure what mood my main character is going to be or what mood the story starts with. I need to get into the mood.
I found an interesting playlist. Let’s hope it helps me get started.

Those are some interesting guesses. Sealing spirits to reveal important items to fix the mess ghost girl has caused. I’m debating whether I make it a power to assist the reaper in his quest or making it an item that can do that and MC can use it as weapon to protect herself but she has no fighting experiences, so I’m not sure.

Am I the only one not writing fantasy?
No. My one story is contemporary romantic suspense and the other is historical mystery/debate with a slight paranormal/time travel aspect (only as mechanics to have theme explored). No fantasy.

Chapter 3 is done for my story 1. I’m enjoying it tremendously, particularly because I am describing a couple in a developed relationship, not the ‘I’ve just met you, and this is crazy…’ stage. So far, no major changes to the outline. I fleshed out one character a bit more than I intended and I will be eliminating a pointless sending a character home plot beat.
Instead, he will be missing his fiancee so much, he will start driving to where she is, hoping to pleasantly surprise her with showing up, so he will be closer behind his abductors. It will just slightly shift placement of the clues.
I am going to keep writing this story for now, but I have Nick scheduled in about 9 minutes, so I dunno how long I will be crying and eating chocolates after that.

Testing out: #1 When a giant monster chases you, all you can do is throw a stick and hope they’d play fetch.
Tentatively called Wolf and Bunny (yay, more werewolf bull), but isn’t aiming to fit the werewolf tropes as much as earlier exercises. I’m going to write a smart-mouth, somewhat immature rabbit shifter that plagues a werewolf mate with insanity.

Mine is paranormal. Real world but with ghosts.
I had a session with my writing group at the same time so I missed it. 
Thankfully there’s a replay.
I’m on the fence if I want to join a book club. I’m already going to be doing critique with my writing group so I’ll get some feedback there though I must say, this group isn’t as vocal (our most vocal members have dropped out unfortunately). I don’t know if I’ll have the time to do a book club on top of that. I’ll consider it later. Right now I want to focus on writing this thing.
In other news, how come this is when my other books are suddenly getting reads? For a long time there was nothing but now it’s picked up as if someone had flipped a switch and now readers are aplenty.
