If you don’t mind leaving more comments on my books, sure! I might have to tailor what kind of payment you’ll have to complete depending on your request, though ![]()
I hope you don’t mind dropping five application forms ![]()

do you mind if I do it without the coding?
it’s a little overwhelming (and i am old
)
i have a cover for the first one already (by the same friend who is currently awol - link here), and i wouldn’t mind something similar, but i have no idea what kind of a cover that is.
i’m fine with something simple, too, but as i am now posting mostly on Inkitt, i think a person on the cover will do better. it’s also an 1890s historical mystery/romance series.
this so you have an idea if you want to request different payment. i will do my best, but i am very slow, which for me is not a problem since there’s obviously no urgency
let me know, and i’ll get on those forms.
Sure thing! As long as all the fields are there and filled accordingly ![]()
Oooooh that’s a manip. I can definitely do something like that but it’s gonna take a while, especially since I’m taking driver’s lessons currently ![]()
I guess we’ll both be slow ![]()
is it? well then ![]()
that’s okay
i’m also not necessarily desperate for a manip, so i’ll just whip up the details for you and then maybe we can figure out together what would work best for it. do you mind if i dm you the forms for the 4 unwritten books? i don’t have spoiler-free summaries, but i wanna outline the plots for you to get an idea
Hmm, what about sending the forms here but DMing me the summaries? I would prefer to have everything in one place
but if you really want to I guess I’m open to DMs!
okay, i’ll try to put them up on here over the weekend!

this is from 1892, but I’ve used it as inspiration for something my character wears: Renaissance Fabrics on Instagram: "We love this color (we have a similar one at our online store - Rust Wool Broadcloth). Although this color is not the perfect one for the upcoming warmer period, we still want to present you with this afternoon dress because it is absolutely amazing. It is an American dress from 1892 and is currently housed at the @metmuseum. We love the simplicity of the dress and its elegance. #historicalcostuming #style #vintageclothing #antiquefashion #sewing #antiqueclothing #historicalsewing #thcenturyfashion"
I love this one, with the woman in the middle, like a fairy: RARE & SUPERB LARGE VINTAGE ANTIQUE ENAMEL HATPIN L= 8 1/4 " | eBay
I love everything about this - the pose, the dress, the colours, the silhuette, but that fur trim around the collar makes it winter wear, and my story takes place August - October, maybe November:
I like the attitude in this one, feisty lady, and very interesting getup. silhouette is not my fav tho.
I love the butterflies and the silhouette, the colours not so much, and again it might be winter or spring wear.
this looks very summery, I love the colours and the silhouette.
I think the last and the first one are my favourites, I love the red for a theme colour, since there’s going to be a murder lol. also I’m going to add some pictures I took myself of the Eiffel Tower. hopefully that helps with the copyright issues.
The same dress on the Met website where it says it’s in the public domain: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/81467
1896 fashion plate also public domain:
It’s very faint, but I love the veil over her face - she is the covert cat after all lol. Maybe it can be made a little more obvious in the silhouette?
here is a picture of an 1896 bride with her flowers and her veil:
I do not have a picture of the Statue of Liberty
but I did photograph a replica in Paris if that helps lol
okay, i’m gonna stop at that for now
let me know what you think, or if you have any questions etc
Woohoo, thank you! What should I do for payment? The stuff that’s in the first post? Something else?
Honestly I’m still trying to decide on what payment would work in your case
how about, since we haven’t decided between the two styles yet, you can start with a partial payment? And after I deliver the prototypes you can choose which style you like more and you can complete the rest of the payment after that ![]()
To start you can leave 2+ comments on the first three chapters (I, II, and III) of Blood Will Tell. If gore makes you uncomfortable though you can instead leave 1+ comments on each poem in my poetry collection, one line at a time ![]()
All right, I’ll try and get to it ![]()
question: what kind of comments are you looking for? constructive feedback or some casual reactions?
Casual reactions
so maybe a few words or sentences, nothing too long but also more effort than a string of emojis lol
I’m also sorry I haven’t delivered the prototypes yet, I’m still working on both styles and looking for the right stock photos can be very time-consuming ![]()
Don’t worry about it! No rush at all
Thanks a lot for doing this!!
Hey, just checking in! If you’d like to clear up your queue and work on something else, that’s totally fine
there’s still no rush, but I don’t want to hold you up if this isn’t working out for you!
Hi, I’m so so sorry it took me so long! I was relocating to another state and spent way too long on the vector-based prototype
but I finally finished both versions and I’ll just need a minute!
Okay so the vector-based cover was trickier since I had to find a suitable stock image that was copy-right free, had the perspective I was looking for, and wasn’t too modern (which most were
), same with the model since I wanted her dress to match the era you were going for. I ended up starting over from scratch since I couldn’t get it right after a while ![]()
But thankfully the object-based cover took less time! (albeit still a lot of time
)
Since this is just a prototype some smaller details may not be as neat, but once we know what to go for they’ll be ironed out in the final version!
Color schemes are also changeable ^-^
