I also changed covers for a couple of books a day or so ago… and I have far more book covers than books. Like, for book ideas and stuff. Not that they are great covers, but Canva is fun.
I would love to see them try and adapt something from the Churroverse as a challenge.
But alas, they’d never take the risk lol.
I am happy with today’s progress overall. I didn’t tie off the chapter, but I got to the transition point into the last mini scene that shouldn’t take long. 
Also, I was stupid and looked at my word count, and even without the bunch of chapters I am yet to redraft, it’s 94K words. 
gosh, it’s going to be a monster.

Haven’t written much in these past two months and I am still without a job, no hires, not even an interview… life is WORTHLESS 
But I managed to get a ticket for Spiderman: No Way Home on Thursday. VIP. So, NO KIDS

WOOOO started the day pumped to work on my next chapter.
Lazy morning, kid at preschool…
dramatic phone call saying the boy had a high temperature and looking ill. Get him home, unusually clingy child. Book him a covid test just in case.
BOOM he pukes everywhere, narrowly missing my laptop.
Clingy boy stuck to side.

Aww thank you. He seems brighter now he’s been sick. kids, eh?! they worry you and then bounce back I just hope it’s not covid. Managed to avoid it so far XD

When my father ran out of job opportunities, he moved 6 states away for a job while his wife and kids moved in with his parents. You may have to start looking outside your area and take risks.

They always perk up after they empty their stomach.
If it’s that bizarre stomach bug we’ve had around here, it will get into a 6-12 hour stretch where you can’t keep a thing down, and then slowly go back to a more reasonable stomach bug. Headache comes after the heavy vomiting, for about a day or two, then you can eat normally, except you will have acid reflux for almost 2 weeks after that: and that’s where the little ones are healthy and STILL throw up.
That went through everyone in our house and other family, and it was so spaced out to make sure that everyone was miserable for quite a while.

Oh, you’ll be able to tell because he will go back to school as normal, and tell you his tummy hurts and vomit in the middle of the night, yet be normal for school the next day. Liquid antacids is what our doctor told us to do for the 3 year old. Didn’t bother with bringing in the 5 year old since the behavior was lighter but similar.
But if it kept up, excused absences require me to bring her to the doctor for everything.

They can be. I often turn to the spouse and ask “Why did we have three of them?” when they are being particularly obnoxious.
He always reminds me, “You’re the one who says we would have more of them if we started earlier.”

Well, try this:
Do a walk through: do a mental layout of how a scene should lay out, get hands-on if you need to, and think about where you want it to go after the scene is set.
Sometimes spatially laying out everything takes the edge off.

Edit a little? Always helps me get into the flow. I always start with editing yesterday’s bit.
