Struggling Writers’ Daily Den: rant, share, complain, ask, daily progress thing (Part 1)

This might help. I’m kind of at that stage where everything is SORT OF “sorted”. Like the couple are together, but the antagonist is still in background. So I kind of need to “eliminate” the problem (without him dying lol) and then wrap it up. I also think because I’ve been writing 75,000 words of it since November1st my brains :exploding_head:  and new shiny things excite me :stuck_out_tongue:

So it’s kinda like LETS FILL THIS ENDING OUT WITH A LITTLE MORE DRAMA but I kinda just can’t be bothered?

I dont know if that makes sense XD

Man, Florida Man and People of Walmart always present some intretesting “what the heck did I just read/see?”

Haha same. Fact being stranger than fiction.

Maybe we need a Churrovrse series too.

Yeah…I have to 1up a nightie to a ball, with all the debauchery I can stomach, for the ending. So, In right there with you

I have some ideas, problem is they are twisting the story serious for a second. Lol

Santiago is being Saltiago and it’s making me wanna give him a bad character arc.

At the moment, his past is a mystery. But now I am looking to mess him up even more. He kinda is asking for it you know?

And Duke’s over here like:

Yo, I’m glad that’s not me.

But Duke also doesn’t know what I have in store for him, so this will be very fun. Maybe he will end up worse than Santi. That’s the beauty of being able to mess up the main character in pursuit of his goals, isn’t it?

At least he wasn’t named “Count”, he’d be even worse!

Got my plan for my ending but I’m at that stage I usually get to where it feels like a chore to finish the book. I think because I have the ending solidified. It’s been a long time since I actually felt sad about finishing a book, and I’ve loved loved loved writing this book, so it surprises me I feel like this.
I think because it’s my NaNo project and I’m kinda ready for it to end. I do always feel like this with NaNo projects

Try to go easy on yourself. Sometimes when I feel like that (I mean I’ve never finished a draft but we won’t go there), what helps me is rereading chapters of the story. That helps me get back into it and raring to finish it off.

I like that idea
I’ve got like half way through the chapter and I’m like groan IM BORED  I’ve freaking enjoyed it up till now XD

Morning everyone.

Heh, I didn’t do anything but hanging out with mom and watching the competitions  my favourite guy though managed silver (not without a struggle, but that wouldn’t be Mozalev if he didn’t make us worried with his short). So, I am happy but gotta have to figure out where I was in my writing once I get my head out of skating.
