Surprised that you don’t get demonitized for that

And that’s not exactly what coronavirus looks like

This site isn’t as anal retentive as some, so I don’t expect censorship or censureship on extremely lightweight stuff.

I dont have ADHD but I feel that. It’s an awful feeling. I feel guilty as well XD but I’m trying to push through

Just surprised me that it seems as if forums are the only place where you can talk freely about corona and not have to worry about getting banned.

I just like to blame things on ADHD so I don’t have to work on it. Lmao

But yeah.

The older generation is still using FB so it took nothing to get shut down on that platform.

gasp oh no, not monetization on this free forum…

hey wait, y’all are getting paid?

also coronaviruses are defined by their shape: a capsule (the body) with a ‘halo’ or ‘crown’ of glycoprotiens (the things sticking out of it). So this looks exactly like a coronavirus :microbe:
On my end anyways.

Save for the color yes

These guys look more iconically virus-like to me, mostly because lots of microbes are circles with tendrils

all pictures of all viruses are either illustrations or tinted with lab dye. The particles are too small to have their own color.

Here, have a green coronavirus

ah yes! the i-forgot-what-it’s-called-but-it-looks-like-an-alien-pod microbe! .=. creepy

Bacteriophage. It’s nicer than some other viruses.

All this talk makes me want to watch Cells at Work again.

Well, I finished chemistry finals. I think I did alright, and there’s a good chance that I’ll end up getting an A overall. I only have a film paper left, but I’m virtually finished with it, so I’ve got a couple of free days to make progress on my chapter. I added some more dialogue to fully tie in my blurb of the story and add a bit more hope and character development for the dad while filling up some of the more gaps in the plot. I’ve probably got around 4-5k words left before I’m going to be done, so it’s still going to take a while to finish, but there’s no obvious roadblocks in my way.

So, I got the feedback from Nick on my current WIP (Novella). He wants it bold. Like a very bold first chapter.

I thought I was bold enough with pushing my story forward. Thats the reason why my books (lately) are short and not beating around the bush, but they do attract readers (seeing my long book has the lowest views). Lots of my readers also commented that I go straight to the point with my story telling and they appreciated it.

So, its basically Nick vs my readers opinion :)) I need to ponder more about how bold I will do it, because you know, Im the one who drives the story forward; its my story. I know where to pause, to slow down, to push faster, or to stop. Right?

But I keep wondering if what he suggested would bring greater effect on my first chapter

Im conflicted.
