Just under. But the last time I was just under, I got all the way back down to 220. Now, no more kids to knock me back up to this tier and I need to start on it.

Frustrating part is that it’s usually easier for males to lose the fat than females. Not impossible, just different needs.
But yeah, 20% is still working out.

Are you saying that you are just under the weight that I am or am I misunderstanding something?
Just under 300. I’m 5’8.5" and probably shrunk with age and pregnancy…might have tipped over. Been a while since I looked at a scale.

I hear you. My wife and I started to try and loose weight at about the same time. I have lost twenty pounds and she’s only lost about ten. I think the female body holds onto weight tighter because of the whole baby thing, why else would a woman’s body not give fat up easier?

Things I’ve heard of:
- Stress triggers: different sources than men.
- Testosterone burns more fat.
- Muscle mass burns more fat (testosterone has more muscle).
- A calorie study to see how much calories she burns a day may be in order.
- Needs to look at pics of what percentage of fat actually looks like on men vs women and get a real dose of how much she actually has to lose because women always look like they carry more fat due to carrying it OVER muscles more than men do.
- Ideal fat ratios for fertility are higher than the ideals on bmi.
- Estrogen needs more sleep. A lack of sleep retains weight in women.
So many factors why we can’t 100% treat it the same. I know there’s more than this. Drives me dotty.

I’ve got a half decent idea for a YA story. Writing the interactions with the father is going to be the hardest part for me, but I have a basic plot down.
YA male protagonist feels isolated and alone despite having people who care about him, gets spirited away to the fairy world and learns that he’s not ony half-unseelie, but also that full unseelie are massive jerks.

Heya. I finally pulled myself together after fraternizing with fellow figure skating fans over the unfairness of the world, build up a bit of hope for maybe seeing our poor wronged darling one more time this year. Oh, well, ice is slippery.
So, okay, a few paragraphs ended, but didn’t finish the chapter. First thing tomorrow morning, then edit and post, that’s the plan!
